Boone Police Report

July 27
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person at 1:52 a.m. on the 200 block of Wallace Circle.
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 7:18 a.m. at Greenway Baptist Church on Greenway Road.
Larceny of auto parts was reported at 8:20 a.m. on the 200 block of N.C. 105 Extension. Used wheel rotors were reported stolen.
Officers responded to an incident involving possession, sale and delivery, and the trafficking of a schedule IV controlled substance at 12:02 p.m. on the 100 block of Winter Drive.
Larceny was reported at 9:53 p.m. on the 300 block of Charlotte Ann Lane. An automobile radio antenna, petroleum products and a license plate were reported stolen.
Arrests: Gary Peter Star, 48, of 529 George Triplett Road, Blowing Rock, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. on a charge of driving without an operator’s license.
Daniel Even Pratl, 21, of 224 Yosef Drive, Apt. 4, Boone, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. on a charge of simple assault.
Gregory Allen Hines, 35, of 302 W. King St., Boone, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. on a charge of violating a city ordinance.

July 28
Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 7:54 a.m. at the Southern Appalachian Historical Association on Horn in the West Drive.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 8:12 a.m. on the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive. A saw and drill were reported stolen.
A simple physical assault was reported at 9:25 a.m. on the 200 block of Keystone Drive.
Larceny from a motor vehicle was reported at 10:57 a.m. on the 100 block of Wintergreen Lane. A saw and drill were reported stolen.
Larceny by shoplifting and a simple physical assault were reported at 2:21 p.m. on the 1200 block of West King Street.
Criminal damage to property by vandalism was reported at 9:57 p.m. on the 500 block of West King Street.

July 29
Breaking and entering was reported at 8:56 a.m. on the 100 block of Church Street.
Burglary with non-forced entry was reported at 10:06 a.m. on the 300 block of Grand Boulevard. Cash was reported stolen.
Larceny was reported at 10:53 p.m. on the 700 block of West King Street. Prescription medication and cash were reported stolen.
Burglary with non-forced entry was reported at 9:57 p.m. on the 100 bock of Park Street. Camera equipment and an iPod were reported stolen.
Arrests: Roger Paul Janousek, 35, of 302 W. King St., Boone, was arrested at 8:49 a.m. on a charge of larceny by shoplifting.
Daniel Fitzgerald Bennett, 23, of 151 Kimberly Drive, Apt. 13, Boone, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. on a charge of financial transaction card fraud.
Seth Patrick Miller, 27, of 426 Old Eastridge Road, Deep Gap, was arrested at 2:24 p.m. on charges of simple assault and aggravated assault.
